Hyperion Fuzz

11.90

Project overview:
Two fuzzes, one Boost, one box! The Hyperion fuzz is really a wonder on its design and sound, packed and with lots of gain. Although when we grab this schematic we were attempting to make a Boss FZ-2 inspired fuzz, after building it and testing we realized in fact it wasn’t a direct clone of that legendary fuzz, yet we were blown away by the tone and features of this mysterious circuit.

Black Musket

11.90

Project overview:
Critically acclaimed boutique Big Muff. Based on a Black Russian version, the Musket adds a modified LPB-1 booster (the "Pre" section) that pushes the standard BMP circuit. Featuring MIDS-shaping control, and FOCUS knob for the sub-low end frequencies address all of the commonly discussed shortcomings of the old 3-knob fuzz. From Floyd-ian singing violin sustain to dreamy, grungy growl; the flexibility is all there at your fingertips.

Have you ever wonder how it will be an Acapulco gold with extended EQ? or how nice it would be a Tube screamer with an active EQ section? Maybe Wampler Plexi with the Eq Section of the Freeman Be-od to make your own ultimate plexi? Well now all of that is possible with our new EQ pack, consisting of 5 modular boards with the isolated tone controls of some of the most famous pedals out there.
We created the EQ packs answering our need of creating and developing new projects. This set of 5 different EQ sections had been designed with the idea of being an add-on to any of pedals that lacks of a tone stack or that has one that you don’t feel it takes the best out of your unite.
Our ultimate goal is to allow YOU to create your own designs, mixing and experimenting with classic effects, with one knob fuzzes and more!
Important! You should be able to read schematics to fully understand how and where to add this eqs on the best possible way.

Warped Plexi

9.90

The Warped Plexi is based on the three knob Version of Wampler’s Plexi Drive ™. Not only one of the Pedals that made Brian Wampler pedal brand famous, it also is one of the best sounding Marshall ™ in a Box pedals out there.  I think there is no need to keep talking about the very British sounding tonal options of this Overdrive. There are plenty awesome demos about it on Youtube.

Beginner Projects

Steel Stingray

9.90

Project overview:
The hype that surrounds Alexander Dumble’s creations has led to an entire cottage industry of builders trying to replicate that sound on a pedal board friendly approach. Vertex Effects’ take on a Dumble Steel String Singer is billed as a “clean drive,” but you will be quite surprised with how much gain the SS could churn out. In front of a clean amp, the pedal got very growly and, at times, heavy on the low end. Our Steel Stingray makes possible to achieve all that Dumble tone, in an affordable super easy to build pedal, ideal for beginners in the pedal building, but also solder masters will be delighted by play with this machine.

Clockwork Orange

11.90

Project overview:
Jfet conversion of the Orange Graphic MKII  ™ that delivers a thick and saturated drive. This project really stands out from the standard Jfet amp emulators due the nature of its schematic, you can find the baxandall eq at the beginning, in between the first and second gain stages, to have total control of your tone before the signal gets saturated. But what makes this project and the original Orange Graphic MKII so interesting is the FAC switch that acts as a high pass filter in between the third and fourth stages, allowing you to do dial your tone in unique ways.

Ultimate Pharaoh

11.90

Project overview:
The Ultimate Pharaoh is the final evolution of the legendary Pharaoh fuzz by Black arts Toneworks. The Pharaoh has long been known for its plethora of musical fuzz tones that forge a link between your guitar and amp without masking the inherent character of each. This rich legacy of tone has led many guitarists to bow down to the Pharaoh, extending its dynasty across pedalboards the world over. Now the Pharaoh Supreme ascends to the Osirian throne, promising all the tones and sounds of the original Pharaoh and much more

9.90

Project overview:
Based on Walrus Audio Deep Six Compressor with roots on the DynaComp and Ross Compressor. This four knobs beast works great for guitar or bass thanks to the internal trimmer that regulates how much of the signal is feed into the IC. Designed to operate with the IC LM13700 instead of the obsolete CA3080 that most of the compressors use. It’s recommended to operate this circuit at 18v, but remember that all the capacitors should be rated for more than 25V.

Dirt Device

8.90

Project overview: Clearly a Fuzz Face inspired circuit, but with two interesting features that totally changes the nature of this pedal, a knob for Bias control that regulates how much voltage is fed into the second transitor, and a big muff tone stack just before the output that allows you to shape the tone at taste.

Volcano Device

9.90

Project overview: The perfect fuzz! According to the people from EQD at Akron, Ohio. This circuit has been designed to have the ultimate classic fuzz tone with a big low end, a biting top end without being too harsh. Inspired on the classic fuzz face face featuring an input buffer and a pickup emulator (transformer). For this project we have included an internal volume trimpot as well as an additional Bias to have more control on the main Bias control outside the box.
