Inspired by the BE-OD Deluxe, which features the same legendary Friedman BE-100 amplifier in a box as the original BE-OD but adds the Friedman’s Dirty Shirley in a second channel. We have upgraded the original design by replacing both Tight Switches with potentiometers, resulting in even better tonal control.

Building upon this legacy, the Freeman Unchained emerges as a dual pedal, boasting the identical circuitry found in its predecessor while adding the distinctive Dirty Freeman inspired by Friedman’s Dirty Shirley amplifier. This additional overdrive pedal excels in delivering a British-style grit, offering remarkable touch sensitivity and tonal versatility reminiscent of the esteemed all-tube amplifier head.
