Project overview
The Dirty Freeman overdrive pedal crams all the British-style grit, supple touch sensitivity, and tonal flexibility of its namesake all-tube amplifier head into a pedalboard-friendly enclosure. It includes a tight switch to reign in your amp’s low end when being pushed.
Introduction
- This board has been designed for on-board pots and switches and keeps your project tidy without long cables around.
- Works using four TL072.
- Internal Trimpot to set the max amount of gain at taste.
- Fits on a 125B enclosure with top-mounted jacks.
If you like this pedal, we recommend taking a look at our Freeman Unchained. This new launch is inspired by the BE-OD Deluxe, a dual pedal that features the BE-OD and Friedman’s Dirty Shirley together, unleashing the full potential of the Friedman brand in a single board.

Love it! Sounds awesome, no noise or any other problems. All the Parts are easy to get.
I recommend using a switch with a short toggle, because its close to the Footswitch.

Great quality. Easy to build thanks to the detailed instructions. Sounds great, with little noise.
I recommend using shielded cable for the input/output jacks.
