Clean Blend Master

Project overview

The Clean Blend Master is a multi-task pedal that allows you to blend your instrument’s unprocessed “clean” signal with any pedal you use. It also eliminates any unwanted phase cancellation in your chain, prevents signal loss, and adds that additional gain stage when needed. This is a must for any effects pedal setup.

Introduction

The Clean Blend Master pedal is the perfect tool for any musician. With its Blend potentiometer and Phase, Buffer, and Gain-stage switches, it gives you a wide range of capabilities for fine-tuning your guitar or bass tone and also effectively troubleshooting any technical issues that may occur in your setup.

Blend Potentiometer: controls the balance between the clean and processed signals. By turning the potentiometer clockwise, you can increase the level of the processed signal, while turning it counterclockwise increases the level of the clean signal. This allows you to blend the two signals to your exact preference, giving you a natural and dynamic sound that’s perfect for your playing style.

Phase Switch: is used to invert the phase of the processed signal. This can be helpful when using multiple effects pedals in your signal chain, as it can help to eliminate any unwanted phase cancellation. You can experiment with the Phase switch to find the setting that works best for your particular setup.

Buffer Switch: adds a buffer to the processed signal. Buffers are used to maintain the integrity of your guitar signal over long cable runs by preventing signal loss and preserving high-frequency content. The Buffer switch can be particularly useful if you’re using a lot of effects pedals in your signal chain or if you have a complex setup.

Gain-stage Switch: adds an additional gain stage to the processed signal, providing a boost to the signal level. This can be useful if you want to add some extra grit or distortion to your sound or if you want to increase the volume of your signal for solos or other lead parts.
